Questions?

Answers

  • Resource Assessment:

    • I thoroughly evaluate your current resources, including budget, technology, and human capital.

    • I assess the bandwidth and capabilities of the team members who will be implementing the solutions.

    Tiered Solution Design:

    • I develop a range of solutions, from those that are easy to implement within existing constraints to more comprehensive options that might require additional resources.

    • This tiered approach allows us to match solutions to your organization's current capacity and future aspirations.

    Organizational Alignment:

    • I align the proposed solutions with your organization's goals, culture, and appetite for change.

    • This ensures that the chosen solutions are not just feasible, but also desirable and fitting for your unique organizational context.

    Implementation Flexibility:

    • I'm cautious about overburdening team members with additional responsibilities they can't manage. Solutions are designed to be implemented in phases if necessary, allowing for gradual adoption and scaling.

    Future-Proofing:

    • While addressing immediate needs, I also consider how solutions can evolve as your organization grows or as more resources become available.

  • I measure the success and impact of my consulting work through both qualitative and quantitative metrics:

    • Employee Feedback and Transformation: The most meaningful measure of success is the positive impact on employees' lives and careers. For instance, at a previous organization, a 28-year veteran who was considering retirement participated in a leadership program I led. She gained a renewed appreciation for the organization, leading to a promotion and extending her career to 37 years and counting. These personal transformations are the heart of why I do this work.

    • Client Satisfaction: I prioritize feedback from my clients on the attainability and effectiveness of implemented solutions. Positive results and the client's ability to sustain the changes are key indicators of success.

    Quantitative Metrics:

Depending on the project, I track relevant data such as:

    • Employee engagement scores

    • Retention rates

    • Internal promotion rates

    • Program participation and completion rates

    • Long-term Organizational Impact: I assess the broader effects on organizational culture, leadership pipeline strength, and overall operational efficiency.

    • Return on Investment (ROI): Where applicable, I work with clients to quantify the financial benefits of implemented changes against the investment made.

My goal is to create lasting, positive change that resonates throughout the organization. Success is when employees feel valued and empowered, and when the organization sees tangible improvements in its operations and culture. I'm driven by the belief that investing in people yields the most significant and enduring returns for any organization.

  • I pride myself on my ability to build and manage relationships effectively. I like to get to know what goals leaders have and what their visions for their people are. I meet people where they are at, I like to understand what each level of the organization needs to be successful. I do this through focus groups, 1:1 meetings and surveys. I also like to be in the field with employees to understand what challenges they face and how organizational development tactics can support them.
